For some stars 15 minutes of fame was enough for them to know that acting isn’t their true passion. Some just couldn’t make it in Hollywood and we’re forced to move on to new careers. These once famous celebrities said goodbye to the spotlight and turned their attention to more normal jobs.
Vanilla Ice – Real Estate
There were no more prominent stars in the ’90s than the ice ice baby singer. He was the best selling rapper in those days, but the problem was it kept him going for just a couple of years. After selling a million records from the ice ice baby, Vanilla bought several properties, which he later sold when working as a real estate investor. He made a massive profit out of it.
Sarah Michelle Gellar – Food Startup
Gellar was spotted at the age of four in New York City, and she made her debut in acting in the Made for television film. She had a passion for the kitchen, and she co-founded Foodstirs with Galit Laibow and Greg Fleishman, a startup food crafting that sells baking kits for families. Gellar is a writer she released her cookbook in 2017, Stirring Up Fun with Food.
Charlie Korsmo – Lawyer
The former actor Charlie starred in Dick Tracy, What About Bob?, and in Hook. Charlie knew that acting was not where his passion was, so he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned a physics degree. In 2006, he received his J.D from Yale Law School, and he is now working as a lawyer and an assistant professor.
